Awards season at Space Walk is in full swing. Many of you have already received medals in the mail and a few of you have received trophies.
Today we’re officially announcing the winner(s) of the Branch of the Year award!
Space Walk of Middle Tennessee
Congratulations to David Sells and the team at MUR for a year were they grew 229%. MUR vaulted into Space Walk’s Top 5 rankings for 2015. After notching the third-highest DUT increase in 2014, MUR had the highest DUT increase in the country in 2015.
David furthered his relationship with Middle Tennessee State University this year, bringing inflatables and other entertainment options to all of MTSU’s home football games during the 2015 season. They not only worked MTSU’s football games, but Space Walk has a presence at basketball games and other major athletic events for the university. To top it all off MUR installed a gorgeous advertisement in MTSU’s football stadium.
In addition to his inflatable rentals, David also rents out a massive inventory of party supplies – grills, smokers, fryers, tents, tables, chairs, chocolate fountains, coolers, concessions, and more. He also has invested in large entertainment items, such as the rock wall and bungee power jump. All of these items allows MUR to rent to a huge variety of events, this helps them gain more inflatable rental clients and to satisfy the customers they already serve regularly.
Space Walk of Greater New Orleans
Since taking command of GNO, Philip (P.J.) Sprunk has grown Space Walk’s original branch each of the last three years. In 2015 however PJ led GNO to a leap increasing his DUT sales over 50% from his finalized 2014 sales numbers!
There are many of reasons that PJ was able to take his branch to this next level. Establishing a relationship with the local sports teams, such as the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans and the Arena Football League’s New Orleans Voodoo has not only led to lucrative contracts with those teams, but the impressions from working those events has exposed GNO’s brand to tens of thousands of potential customers.
Not every territory has major league teams, but GNO has also secured contracts with nearly all of the schools and churches in his territory. He accomplished this by being adamant with contacting these organizations months in advance of their major events.
PJ hasn’t done all of this growing alone. The quality of his staff around him has led to customer’s returning to Space Walk. Their delivery and pickup service leaves a lasting impression with customers that keeps them calling back. Expanding GNO’s inventory with more party rental equipment such as tables, chairs, and generators has also secured more rentals.
